ABOUT
Xzibit was born in Detroit, Michigan, and is a multifaceted American artist renowned for his contributions to hip-hop, television, and film. He began his music career in 1992 and gained prominence with his debut album At the Speed of Life (1996), followed by 40 Dayz & 40 Nightz (1998). His third album, Restless (2000), produced by Dr. Dre, marked a significant commercial breakthrough, peaking at number 12 on the Billboard 200. Xzibit's subsequent albums, including Man vs. Machine (2002) and Weapons of Mass Destruction (2004), further solidified his status in the hip-hop community. Beyond music, he gained widespread recognition as the host of MTV's Pimp My Ride from 2004 to 2007, where he transformed old cars into customized masterpieces. His acting credits include roles in Gridiron Gang (2006), The X-Files: I Want to Believe (2008), and the TV series Empire (2016–2019). In 2024, Xzibit signed with Conor McGregor's Greenback Records and is releasing his first album in over a decade, Kingmaker, in May 16th 2025.
