Teather is a genre-blurring artist whose music lives at the intersection of experimental electronica and pop. Drawing inspiration from acts like Burial, FKA Twigs, and Massive Attack, her sound pairs dense, left-field production with infectious hooks and striking visuals. A self-taught producer and songwriter, Teather began creating music during the 2020 lockdown, channeling a former survivalist obsession into an equally intense DIY artistic practice.
She executive produces and writes all of her work, crafting immersive sonic worlds that feel both intimate and cinematic. Known for her hypnotic live shows and opening sets for artists like Slater and Astra King, Teather continues to build a cult following on the West Coast. Her upcoming album, It Was Only Perfect Because It Was Never Real, explores fantasy, desire, and the tension between narrative and reality, cementing her as a voice for the strange, sexy, and sincere.
