Mola Oddity

ABOUT
Mola Oddity is a creative project centered around Birdy K, Yider, and Asr. They liken themselves to deep-sea creatures (Mola), possessing unique traits (Oddity) and the absorbent capability to digest a variety of influences, transforming the world's absurdities into peculiar tales.
Birdy K is deeply influenced by the aesthetics of the American duo The Books, attempting to deconstruct and reorganize various materials to construct her own world of meaning; Yider and Asr, on the other hand, are rooted in Mongolian folk music, exploring the possibilities of its integration with West African music and jazz.
The organic combination of the three creates a collage of fun and inner rhythm in the album, maintaining a relationship with all established musical styles that is both close and distant.
