ABOUT
Inspired by the MC's from near and within his hometown of Flint, Michigan, rapper, producer and certified gold songwriter Jon Connor started his own label at the age of 14. While in high school, he built his own studio, and during the latter half of the 2000s released several projects; including "The Calling pt. 1" (2005), "The Calling pt. 2: The Second Coming" (2008), "Salvation" (2010), a collaboration project with producer Rob "Reef" Tewlow, and "Jon Connor as Vinny Chase Season One" (2010).
Connor continued a steady collaboration and release schedule during the early 2010s, highlighted by "Season 2" (2011) and "While You Were Sleeping" (2012). In 2013, Connor released "Unconscious State", becoming his first project to chart on Billboard. After time spent on Aftermath Entertainment and stand out verses on Dr. Dre's 2015 release "Compton", Connor returned to his independent roots. Rebranding his company All Varsity Music Group in 2020, Connor released S.O.S (2020), S.O.S II: The Road To Legendary (2022), III (2024) and his latest album Food For The Soul (2025).
