ABOUT

Decisive Pink is the duo made up of Angel Deradoorian (formerly of Dirty Projectors) and Russian experimental pop artist Kate NV. The music they make together, much like the Wassily Kandinsky painting which inspired their band name, is a colorful puzzle, bursting with joy and romance. On their 2023 debut, cheekily titled ‘Ticket To Fame’, the pair invite the listener into an electronic pop world whose playful and abstract nature inspires much needed escapism. The New York Times called the opener Haffmilch Holiday 'substantive and thoroughly hypnotic'; the rest of the album seamlessly follows this shiny thread.
