CZARFACE is a hip-hop supergroup formed in 2013, consisting of Boston duo 7L & Esoteric and Wu-Tang Clan veteran Inspectah Deck. Known for their gritty boom-bap production, comic book-inspired aesthetics, and sharp lyricism, CZARFACE blends old-school sensibilities with a modern underground edge. The group has carved out a distinctive lane with a string of critically respected releases, including collaborations with MF DOOM and Ghostface Killah, pairing raw beats with dense bars and vintage superhero motifs.
