ABOUT


Black Dice are an abstract electronic blues band currently based out of Los Angeles, California and Madrid, Spain.  Formed in 1997, the band has roots in American DIY hardcore culture, evolving to incorporate sonic aspects of dub, techno, hip hop, tropicalia, and musique concrete while maintaining a crude punk aesthetic.  Black Dice have released records on Gravity, Vermin Scum, Troubleman, 31G, Catsup Plate, Tigerbeat6, DFA, Fat Cat, PawTracks, Ribbon, and LIES. The band has played hundreds of shows worldwide, from  suburban basements to Medieval castles, and continues to search for the  ultimate roadhouse jam session.
